VIDEO MAGAZINE ON THE BEST SERVICES 4 THE COMMUNITY OFFERED BY NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS COMMITTED TO SOCIAL CHANGE IN GREATER CHICAGO. A PROJECT OF www.media4community.org
While researching on the topic ‘art and horses’ I came across this quite unique approach to expressive painting: a very interesting interspecies action collaboration between artist Cheryl Ward and her painting horses: Romeo, Juliet and DaVinci! The horses were rescued and showed post-traumatic distress that artist Cheryl started to cure very gently through art therapy. The therapy unexpectedly turned into a business as Cheryl was able to sell hundreds of paintings for up to $3500 each! Watch the horses actually brushing colors on the canvas and following their inspiration:

The discussion about what is art and what is not never ends, and of course has involved artist Cheryl Ward and her painting horses, too, as you can view in the CBS News video Art Therapy for Horses.
